I came here wanting to play aphelios, I no longer want to play aphelios

as someone who whas an Aphelios main, I completely agree that this is a essential information to use this champ in it's full potential.

This is a very good guide for people starting to play Aphelios, at least trying to understand this champion
But when you play more, holding a stable cycle doesn't really benefit much
If you want to main this champ, you need to understand all combinations, otherwise, you will get yourself into sticky situation where you are trying to cycle but needed to do something like team fight/split push/compete for other objectives
My other thought on this champion is which combination to avoid is more important than which combination to get
Also knowing what you need to do in the future 3 minutes also affects your choice of weapon when cycling

Does this boil down to having 2 types of rotations? The starter rotation (that gets you to red-white):
1. red-green (use red)
2. green-purple (use green)
3. purple-blue (use purple)
4. blue-white (use blue)
5. white-red (use red)


And then the rotation you're supposed to have for the rest of the game on repeat always depleting the oldest weapon:
6. green-white (use white)
7. purple-green (use green)
8. blue-purple (use purple)
9. red-blue (use blue)
10. white-red (use red) - which gets you back to 6. green-white. Right?

So I only need to be on the weapon combinations from steps 6 to 10 in the second rotation, the first rotation only being a way to get to the correct one for the rest of the game, no?

Accidentally killed 3/4 of opponent team the other night when they were about to eat bot outer turret (WW survived because he ran away so fast lmao...). I wanted to delay with a straight up ult to the crowd, never thought sheit would explode so hard following the initial impact. I was not fed, it was among my first several games with him. What a seasonal beast :D!

Waste Red🟥 -> Green🟩 -> Purple🟪 -> Blue🟦 -> Red🟥 -> White⚪. Then just get rid of the oldest weapon in your inventory.🌈

This is a great guide but aphelios has a versatile kit so some different combos work pretty good on him

As a new Aphelios main, I've already gotten used to the rotations but different situations require different rotations for the most part in every game. I mostly prioritize getting red/white in late game when I'm ahead and want to keep shredding tanks and then running after them.

You can also have this rotation if you do this for the first rotation of the game: deplete green then purple then blue then red, it gives the same rotation and it lets you keep red long in your laning phase in case u need some sustain

Honestly I use the same sequence of weapons, but to get to it I just hold on to green and use it only as a poke until I use up blue. A little bit more tricky I think than this method but it works for me.
