In today's motivational speech, I discuss King Leonidas and the battle of Thermopylae, where 300 Spartans took a stand against a massive Persian invasion. When asked to submit and put down their weapons, the Spartans famously responded, Molon Labe, which translates to "come and take them."

In this speech I explore the areas in your life where you can become bolder and relentless with regard to your convictions. As the world seeks to push you away from who you really are and what matters most, this motivational speech delves into the power of staying true to yourself, taking control of your mind, and when asked to trade what matters most for the fleeting relief of temporary comfort, to stand tall and pronounce, "come and take it."

I learned more about life dying alone in the woods and surviving than I ever did of 52 years on the earth, wake up people when your on the death bed it's too late. Repair relationships with family member, call estranged child or parents and tell them you love them. It will release your soul. Goodness is the greatest. Nothing great is down the easy street.

I love this! While I was listening to this visions from the movie 300 were playing in my head. Also, I was listening to Les Brown the other day and he was talking about the importance of commitment in our lives. He said that most of us lack a real commitment to our goals and this is one of the main reasons we don't reach them. He went on to say, when people ask us to do something we say, "I'll try. " This I'll try phrase is our escape clause. It is our way of getting out of having to actually follow through. Thank you for this! "Come and take it!" Is my new mantra.
