Saving Plastic Waste for Turtles 🐢♻️

When we first invested in our injection moulding setup, our ocean keyrings were some of the very first products to be made.

Whenever we're selling our products at markets, these are especially popular with kids, which is always so lovely to see as they're often the most environmentally conscious of us all. They also make for nice little reminders of why recycling is so important in preserving this wonderful planet of ours.

Would recommend using a different style of chain. Those ones very often split open of that gets snagged on ANYTHING and boom, turtle lost.

The turtles are lovely. Just the right color and patterning. You have given me ideas for plastic bag recycle with an Iron. I prefer practical everyday items. What you do is wonderful I wish everyone recycled and made useful things.

Thinking of plastic bags...
How feasible would making roofing tiles be?
I ask because if been melting rhem into sheets for furtue projects. The scale doesnt work for me, but id be very interested in seeing your approach to such an idea

I’d love to see something a little more useable/longterm, as cute as they are I sadly see these tossed in the trash pretty fast. (Love your work and what you stand behind!)

I would get a uv resin kit so you could seal the ends of the keychain for a more secure fit.

Your ambition is awesome. Get an inexpensive, small injection molding machine (20 or 33 tons) and get started with some real production. You have some good basic mold-making skills. Take the next leap. Get a job at an injection molder and learn the basics.
