Sea Turtle Rescue - Net Entanglement In Argostoli Harbour

On 21/08/2019 a team of volunteers for the conservation organisation 'Wildlife Sense' discovered a female loggerhead turtle with a net entanglement. This short video outlines what the researchers did next to help save the sea turtle.

Fishing has always been one of my favorite pass times. I’m extremely careful with my gear, especially disposing of line remnants and hooks. I can’t understand how people can be so inconsiderate. It warms my heart to see such caring folks go out of their way to help these poor creatures in need, who end up on the receiving end of carelessness and cruelty. Thank you!!!
