My grandfather was old enough to have been alive during the wild west. He said it was mostly just boring, and he hard to work very hard every day to survive. He never saw any kind of gunfight.

I like how guys and gals were raised with the importance of family being at the forefront. Each member of the family from the elderly grandmother or grandfather to mom and dad, all the way down to children of all ages (assuming they weren't little babies) did their part to ensure the family survived, especially during winter months. You didn't need years and years of schooling to survive in that era. As long as you knew how to read, write, add and subtract, you were going places. You found a wife or husband early and you stayed married until one of you were dead. Thats the way it should be today. Divorce shouldn't exist. Women certainly shouldn't be able to Divorce. They're 80% to blame for divorces. They're the ones that file and lawyers tell them to because they all make out like bandits in Divorce court. There are women worth tens of millions of dollars who never worked a day in their life, all because they were married to a successful guy, cheated on him, then divorced. Take me back to the good ole days!

Sometimes the US government made treaties that they later broke. In those cases, yes, it was stealing. However when it just pursued straight up conquest, that's not stealing. Nearly all the native tribes would not have found the concept of Conquest inherently wrong as they had also done that to other tribes as long as they had been around. They would just be upset that they lost. Oftentimes do to numbers in the long-run.
