You must be the _worst_ spy I've ever heard of...

"But you _have_ heard of me!"

The Spy has already breached our defenses.
You've seen what he's done to our colleagues. And worst of all, he could be any one of us.
He could be in this very room! He could be you. He could be me! He could even be-

When you're so bad at spying that the enemy lets you keep doing it.

One of my favourite historical spies was a Spanish man during WW2, who hated fascism, so he went to the British and offered to be a spy for them, but they turned him down because they knew nothing about him. So he went to the Germans and offered to be a spy for them, and they agreed. So he sent them back intentionally false reports about British troop movements, and invented a network of agents he pretended worked for him. He even sent a report saying one of his non-existent agents had been captured and killed, and requested money to send the fake agent's fake widow, and the Germans agreed.

"We've found a spy. He's terrible. Should we arrest him?"
"No, wait." *popcorn and chair* "I wanna see how this works out."

This feels like a "we trained him wrong, as a joke" moment in human history

The only thing more valuable than a spy in the enemy’s camp is an enemy spy in your camp that you know about.

Honestly, the better move would've been to trick him into sending fake information back; essentially turning him into a double agent.

You should do a video on the worst/best spy. He wanted to be a spy for england; but was rejected, so he went to be a spy (double agent) in germany. He recive rewards both from england and germany and lived in spain. And basically feed the germans (truthfull) public info. Exept for D-day wich has a story of its own.

Tbh, terrere was the worst spy, didn’t understand the language in the country he was sent on, and bringing loads of attention due to his unending hunger

To be fair, he received no training as a spy and even in the face of death he proved to be a gallant man, earning the respect of his captors.

That’s not most atrocious thing I’ve seen in this video

Whoever made that map needs to imprisoned immediately

I can’t help but feel bad for this dude. He got no training whatsoever, so of course he screwed up! His superiors practically sent him to die.

And during Naval Rearmament of the Third Reich, a 1934A Destroyer is named after him.
