After weeks of planning, building and buying stuff my new studio is finally done. So much fun and so inspiring to work in here and to make music, the improvement in sound is huge due to the acoustic treatment and of course due to the new speakers and audio interface.

Very cool setup and well explained. As I am currently beefing up my home office room into a combination of Live-Streaming (MS Teams, Zoom, ...) and a music listening room I surfed so many articles and videos, but your video is really king. And, regarding the room acoustics I already came across all those brands that you have built into your studio.
The only thing I most likely will do differently (if get my wife‘s budget approval -:) ) is about the bass absorbers: I friend of mine who is in the music, audio and recording business for many years recommended to me the active bass absorbers PSI AVAA which must be incredible, especially looking at their small size. But they are about € 2, 500 each, and I may need 2 of those.
Should I have some I will report back to the community, of course.

Nice. Yes Lava Lamp in English too. I thought that was a weird RME Babyface, I sold mine recently. No need for 192khz or 96khz. I got a new Tascam. Ordering Binary Diffusor now! Thanks

Well done with the room, my first question: What is so special about the accoustic panels that justifies the price? Am I wrong to think that I can just build something similar myself and achieve the same result? What am I missing?

Hey Mike! I use Superior Drummer 3 with a V-Drum set(TD-15KV). I find that one big issue is triggering ride cymbal’s bell sound in SD3. Do you have any similar issues with this and possible fixes? Thanks in advance!!

Was mich noch interessiert ist ob Du eine Einmesssoftware mit Mikrofon benutzt hast für den Raum!? Ein Freund von mir hatte sowas. Es ist ja sonst schwierig genau zu bestimmen wie viel Absorber und für welche Frequenzen man braucht oder?
