Bro if you're going to make a story about sexism at least make it logical. This is just sexism out of nowhere with no sense at all, if the female robots are discarded almost in the moment they make them, THEN WHY THEY MAKE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?, AND WHY THEY COVER THE MALE ROBOTS WITH GOLD?, WHAT'S THE BENEFIT?

Why make female robots if you’re just gonna scrap them

I understand the message is meant to be about how men are more likely to achieve higher positions of power than women, or just men being treated better in society in general. But as the comments show, most people only think about how if the female robots are just gonna be scrapped, then why make them? I feel like having them become servants or laboring workers would kinda help paint a clearer picture that doesn’t contradict any ideas.

It’d be like if you decided to cook dinner and made meals for two people. But because it’s a solo dinner, you toss out the other plate in the trash, instead of inviting someone over or just not make the extra food.

It was literally the order was: Male, Female, Male, Female. Why go through the trouble of making the female bots at that point?

This reminds me of how farmers breed chicks. They figured out a way of how to tell a female from the male by the color of their fur. The ones with the male color gets thrown into the mince meat machine, whereas the females are grown to breed more offsprings.
