Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Review - The Final Verdict

While it doesn’t break much new ground for what is technically a new IP, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is an overall highly enjoyable experience that does just enough new to stand out from the series it branched off from.

While it doesn’t fix some of the issues with the writing and loot mechanics that Borderlands has been plagued by for its entire existence, I found myself consistently engaged with the world, characters, and gameplay that Wonderlands offers, frequently coming back for more even when I didn’t expect to. There’s certainly a large portion of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands that we’ve played at length before, but from the lovable characters to the addicting gunplay, it’s hard to argue that it doesn’t hold up to make this experience worth playing.

considering how often gearbox update & add to these games at an almost constant rate after release, i'm sure TTW will find it's groove & become a fully complete game soon enough, it's got all the style in the world it just needs that little bit extra substance (in my opinion).

After playing this for a week I can say its good, but it needs an update to increase the loot drops and rarity. Even with all the d20s I still have a large number of guns that are under my level cause the ones I get at my level just aren't good and more often than not I'm getting class mods and spells instead of guns.

I like Borderlands, not a huge fan. But Tiny Tina might be my best Borderland game. Can't wait to reach the end game contents !

Really enjoying Wonderlands, as someone who loved the BL3 gameplay but hated the writing. Not sure Wonderlands really needs to reinvent the wheel in terms of innovative new gameplay, when so many people still enjoy the Borderlands formula. I also don't really think Borderlands games need to reinvent the wheel in term of innovative new gameplay if people still enjoy the gameplay that is there. I mean, tons of games are basically just copy pastes of themselves, like the Souls games or 3rd person action adventure games within their own series. Sometimes people don't want the gameplay or basic mechanics in a series to change much, they just want new settings, characters and stories.

I like this game, but the fact I've put in 5 hours so far and it seems like the weapons I get or find are so weak. I'm assuming its because its early game, but I would of thought I would of came by something stronger by now.
