I have built 4 mob spawners in my world and this is the ONLY one that has worked properly, tysm man you are amazing

Just letting anyone know if the farm seems slow it might be because spiders are clogging it up, you'll need to go up to where the mobs spawn and place trapdoors on the floor in order for them not to spawn (there is a certain pattern for the trapdoors) but i dont know what it is exactly i have one in an older world and it works great with those trapdoors in

Edit: another side note, you can also extend the farm and add a second layer of platforms so more mobs can spawn but I think you need to place 4 ladders at the top of the hole where the mobs fall down so that the ones from the top floor don't accidentally fall from the top to the bottom and die from the fall

If you’re too high and your water sources keep freezing try this out.
Put glowstone under you water source block, then a slab on the bottom half of your water source. be sure to place the slab by using the walls as to not destroy the water source itself, but instead water-log it. Works for me. I put the slabs so that the light source from the glow stone didn’t discourage mob spawning. You could also try just doing the slabs.

I think it doesn‘t work anymore. I did this, but almost no mobs are spawning. I am on Bedrock. I wonder what it could be

Ive built this farm on my offline world and on a realm i play on. Really works well. I even built 4 more layers for it to get more spawns and more loot

this tutorial works super well on pocket edition!! i used cobbled deepslate to build it over land but definitely build it over an ocean if you dont want to risk falling off and dying LOL. btw i noticed that the creepers sometimes start to explode if im right next to them so i expanded the platform a bit so instead of killing them with a sword i can shoot arrows at them ^_^

At first I was skeptical as to whether or not this would actually work but in started producing right after I started it, and I even got a couple music disks from sitting at a point where the skeletons would try to shoot me and kill the creepers. Would recommend for mid/late game players

I made this yesterday in survival and it works really well but i have one issue. The creepers were blowing up my bottom section of the farm. To combat this i made the bottom 4 blocks all the way around out of obsidian. Its not that big of a deal if your paying attention but it was annoying at first. I followed the exact dimensions but i put 2 long chest instead of 1 long chest. Im on pocket edition so maybe that has something to do with it. Just a heada up to others

If you replace the the slabs with campfires, the farm becomes automatic. Sadly this gives no exp. but you can put out a campfire with water and relight it with flint and steel so it's still a viable option.

For anyone having trouble with spawns, build at least 25 blocks away from your farm and no more than 50. You'll get the optimal spawn rates available in bedrock.

Thanks for this I followed it and it didn't take to long, for me it took abt 1 min and then mobs start spawning and it's really effective

Make sure to check the roof every now and then for pillagers if your above the ocean

Works pretty decent, the spawn rates arent very good in bedrock, but its a good farm, I was wondering if you can add another layer
