This man needs more subs like right now, this guy deserves more subs, he's very underrated, straight to the point, no stupidly long intros, not to mention his soothing calm voice!!

If you throw a potions of speed onto a horse and breed it The offspring will continue to be faster and faster until it's ridiculous surprise Mojang never fixed it so literally make potions that make you run fast throw them at both horses and then breed them and the baby will be faster permanently

Blue ice highways in the Nether take a while to set up safely but makes travel between distant bases/biomes an afterthought. Great vid as always!

5:50 pigs are useful in that they walk on their own without needing player to hold down any buttons, which is good for travelling long distance while AFK
Minecart + rails is the alternative but it's more expensive, requires work and can only go to where rails go

I really wish they would create a minecart booster. maybe add an "amp" that requires a block of redstone and a repeater style block that multiplies the output to make anything redstone does STRONGER.

faster rails
piston pushes more total blocks/harder blocks
brighter lights.

I love how at 4:11 he dies and then the frame instantly changes lol

13:40 player launchers also work on normal difficulty, as there are ways to avoid taking damage (or at least avoid fatal damage) from the explosions.
Enderpearls can be sped up by explosion too, but that requires the trajectory chunks to be loaded

I built a packed ice bridge in the netherack up by the roof of the nether that went 1, 250 blocks so I could easily reach a woodland mansion that was 10, 000 blocks from my base. That was pretty cool. We could all get there in around 30 seconds. On the other hand, mining out a 3x3 tunnel up there was nerve wracking. There were lava source blocks, I fell through holes at least once (had feather falling IV, luckily), and before I filled it up with the ice and the rails, hostile mobs were spawning. It took a long time to tunnel and then a lot of resources to build the actual bridge. It was fun, but I’m not sure I’d do it again.

Making rails extend to the villages/points of interest around my base is so satisfying and helps maintain some modicum of realism. Building the bridges and laying the gravel on the sides is fun too haha

My favorite nether travel method is putting a saddled pig in a minecart.

If you sit on the pig and hold backwards you travel towards your looking direction I think it's the same speed as powered rails but you can control the direction or just stop

I call it "Nether TransPORKtation"

You still need the rails under it, for anyone wondering.

"You'd be traveling at 33 blocks a second, which isn't actually as fast as you think"

- Uh sir, that is 118km/h or 73mph

Hoh, nice. Definitely helpful. Especially the blue ice stuff. I've built ice highways in the nether, but they've always been somewhat time consuming. The mining and compacting blue ice primarily being the main problem. I think I mined out near half a biome or so to do three block wide roads, when I could have saved so much time and resources on doing what was shown near the end.

I think the splash potion of speed 2 use on a set of horses that you breed is the fastest method. The splash potion effect is what gets passed on and it stacks you can make the horse so fast the game stops rendering terrain.

It's a somewhat unpopular method, but minecarts are my preferred form of travel. I have a huge rail in my world that spans about 5000 blocks linking together all my builds and important locations.
