If the door is not fully closed, and the ship is experiencing plasma build up, and rolling, is it not periodically exposing the partially open bay to re-entry heat??

Looks like their stage separation technique is now pretty good, i would wonder how many times the top of the booster could handle that kind of pressure/thermal differential before metal fatigue.
