The rare times meeting people like you on the seas make it worth it. One good experience easily beats out 10 bad ones

Phuzzy this is literally just a video of you throwing a match, but the way you do it, the way you retell the story, it just becomes utterly captivating to watch. You have a rare talent.

It's always important to remember that what makes this game, is also how we behave towards other and weakers players.
Just remember that behind that pirate game there's people with feelings, and even if you don't see it, it's important to take care of others feelings.
Thanks Phuzzy to make this game as wholesome, you're a treasure, and i'd like to stole you one day :D.

Except trashtalkers. Just sink them.

My wife and I are literally this guy. We play SoT around 2 years now and we always struggle with PvP. These videos always put a smile in my face and make me return to the game. You are the best CC in Sea of Thieves hands down!

The number of times I"ve rage-quit over this mode after being matched with players way out of my league is astronomical. I've been in that dude's place more times than I can count and still can't seem to improve. Phuzzy's right, getting repeatedly spawn-killed on the way out of bounds is soul-sucking depressing when it's happening to you, even if it is a completely legitimate win strategy. Like other commenters have said, the biggest thing is to consider the other human you're interacting with. Outside of this little pirate game, they have lives, problems, successes, and worries and even a witty conversation mid-fight might be the difference between a player choosing to try again or hang up their pirate hat for good.

I've lost every fight this week...it's rough, makes me think about just stopping all together after really loving this game. Thanks for this phuzzy. I need to get back to not giving a crap and just enjoy the pixels in front of me

It's so nice to see someone playing games with empathy and understanding for other players. Phuzzy is happiest when everybody leaves the encounter feeling good about it, instead of your usual gamer standard of only feeling fulfilled when the other party is demoralized. Thank you for setting a good example Phuzzy, you're a paragon for our community.

You can hear the hurt in his voice. He is devastated at being bad and losing so much. It's clearly crushing him.

Truly one of the nicest and wholesome streamers I know. You exude compassion and patience. You make many peoples days a little better. Thanks Phuzzy.

I feel so much for this guy, because it's basically how I ended up quitting Pvp on my own. I enjoy the open seas and adventuring, constantly losing is just depressing.

And a lot of nights I try there's only 1 or 2 ships on offer so I just get sunk by the same person 3 times in a row. Even just if there was more variety in people it would maybe be a bit easier to keep going

Phuzzy, you always manage to impress me… not by you good you are at SoT (which you are really good), but by your compassion and sense of FairPlay. You’re a kind person and a good sport. Thank you for all these years of great SoT content and content of your character.

Literally teared up watching this. Thank you for showing games can also be a vessel for compassion and empathy.

As a veteran that doesn't consider itself a pvp fundamentalist, one single thing that i dislike about the game's community is the incompetence of pvprs or "competitive players" to see how unsatisfying is the way on learning and how punishing it feels to lose many times, especially in the gamemode.
I deeply understand rooks feeling underwhelmed and discouraged to pvp, because i see myself when i began playing arena, but that mode was really much arcade and felt fun, although there was some really good players back there, probably similar skill ceiling as today.
Cool video, unveiled a reallity that most of content creators doesn't want to show about this season.

Honestly the empathy that Phuzzybond shows is what makes me tear up, it is also why he is enjoyable to watch. Its just a different feel.

Youre a great dude phuz. You were like the first sot content creator i watched when i started. Now that i have over 100 days i am the type that can sink almost anyone but i enjoy making moments like these. People dont forget a skilled pirate that not only showed mercy, but showed you small steps to get on their level. It does indeed keep the fabric of the seas in tact. Thanks for that. Keep it up

I needed this. The hourglass grind has been rough. I duo sloop with my sister a lot, but neither of us are very good at pvp. We started playing this mode not only for the ghost curse (don’t really care about the skeleton curse), but also because we wanted to improve our pvp skills. And yet, that’s nearly impossible when every match is against some sweat that’s played the game since launch. This video reminded me that winning really isn’t what matters, it’s about having fun at the end of the day. Thanks for this, I’ll make sure to take this lesson to the seas

I'm a lot like that guy, but a few steps beyond him. I got so frustrated with my lack of skill or progress that I just stepped away from the game. But I love it, I love the sea and the sounds and the rush of it. Thank you for this lovely video, maybe it's time to try again.

I always get toxic after I lose a hourglass battle and abuse the opponent(not all the time but most of the time) and your last 2 videos have made me realize something, the other person is also human just like I am. The guy in this video has probably been losing pvp battles just like me but he doesn't get toxic and has no resentment towards you, from now onwards I am going to be more sporty and say gg and leave whenever I lose and try to figure out what mistakes I made and try not to repeat those mistakes. Thank you Phuzzybond for reminding me to be more kind to people! ❤
