Just wanted to play the hourglass game mode to be in a one hour long fight of them running back-and-forth in the pocket so they could get stationary cannons on us. They sucked at hand to hand PVP plus ship PVP, yet all they had to do was camp. They didn’t even win by sinking us or out, skilling us (because they were bad and relying on a strategy where they didn’t have to do anything) we decided to go right off the playable zone because we couldn’t even get an ounce of combat. Great game.

There is a trick you couldn`t use because of the positioning of your ship. With a Captained ship you can just repair your ship for money during the fight if you are close enough to the start point.

After 3 weeks of grinding I got to level 77 in servants but my friends got burn out for a little bit so I might use this trick to get the last 23 levels thanks for the tip

I do this strat at keelhaul fort. I pull into the bay and anchor and knock the mast down. Even if the can get ship cannons on you. They cant hit low enough to cause leaks. Than all you gotta do is hang out in the only tower that has angle on your sloop. Get some holes on yhe and go for a bord.

I actually did this by accident once, hahaha. My ship was somehow stuck in the harbor. Even damaged it seemed to sink really slowly due to being stuck on sand. So I boarded the other guy and sailed out of bounds. He laughed on voice chat so I didn't feel too bad.

Invasions clearly need a buff, or just something - anything! At least an option to opt in to being invaded right away after a battle instead of waiting 15 minutes for the chance to be.
I've been lucky whenever I've made content around being invaded, it's never taken more than 20 minutes to get an invasion.
But, the way you described your experience is absolutely miserable....

You can do something similar on dagger tooth but better because cannonfire cannot sink you
