Cooking on the Homestead is a visual walk through of the garden harvest and actually using them for cooking. The recipes are taught visually and with principles and guidelines so you can cook a wonderful dish to your liking. Cooking is like gardening, you have to get started and make adjustments. Subscribe and learn to grow leeks, potatoes and other garden vegetables.

More or less broth to thicken or thin the soup
Use whole milk, light cream or heavy cream or skip it
Increase leeks or decrease potatoes for more leek flavor
Season to your liking
