It's nice to know I'm not the only one who adds (brown) sugar to my tomato sauce to cut the acidity! I make pasta sauce and add brown sugar always! Now I want to make my own marinara sauce!

This is a GREAT presentation. I make a lot of my own sauce and put it in quart jars for future use. I follow a canning method using a pressure cooker after the sauce is bottled. I always add a couple cans of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup to my marinara sauce and it makes all the difference in the world.

It took me a while to find a vegan marinara sauce I liked so I’m so glad I found yours. Right now I’m finishing off my first batch and the kitchen smells wonderful. I took a sample and it’s exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

If you put a eighth teaspoon of baking soda in it give it a quick stir, it will ever so slightly foam. Not much which is what you want. Then skim off the fizzy bubble spots. Prevents heartburn and such. Be careful not to add to much. Better too little. In case anybody wanted a little tidbit
