I tried not to get divorced. I donated a kidney to my husband. I had our marriage blessed in the church after we got married by the justice of the peace. However, he assaulted me twice, & it would have been a 3rd time if I could not still run faster than he. I don't know what else I could have done. Married for 18 yrs, I supported us for the past 12 yrs. His resentment toward me is palpable & terrifying. And ultimately, when I told him that I was afraid, HE filed for divorce. 😢
So sad & lonely & lost. I hope that with my newfound "freedom, " God uses me in a mighty way.

Totally agree with this. My Ex and I were warned in a prophetic word that he would meet his Bathsheba. My Ex was warned to turn run and tell me everything. He did not. 😢, but God restored what was stolen and I praise Him for His Grace and Mercy. Praying for the Lamb family and all who are affected at Daystar. No man should be put on a pedestal.

Since Lisa isn't dead it appears to me that Joni and Doug are living in adultery since Doug had no real biblical reasons for divorce. This is what Joni's children believed and that's why they're being persecuted.

I love you sister. I’m have learned so much today. I watched my son who was pastoring be slaughter by the leadership in the church. Power that was way out of control. I thought that I would never see him in church again. But we prayed and God is slowly healing his heart. We are all going to church together now. We serve a wonderful God. He is very strong and graceful in the way that he articulates himself and is so peaceful throughout even difficult conversations. Even when talking to someone very abusive, he stays calm, clear and concise. He is an incredible gift of God!!

I grew up in westchester county and our nana & pop pop lived in a 1 bedroom in the Bronx too. I can relate to having 20 people in the apartment at once, lol. Our cousins from Long Island were there too, and all us kids would play in the bedroom. The bed, of course, is where all the coats were!
