Why I Almost Got Disney World Evacuated !!

When I was 15, my family took a trip to Disney World. I was in charge of carrying the family water bottles in my backpack. Around lunchtime, we stopped at a restaurant to relax for a bit. About 30 minutes after leaving, I realized I was thirsty and reached for my backpack—only to discover it was gone.

Thankfully, my dad stays cool in situations like this. He suggested we retrace our steps, starting back at the restaurant. Sure enough, that’s where it was. As I reached for my backpack, a guy dressed entirely in black asked, "Is this your bag?" I nervously replied, "Yeah, why?" He started laughing and turned to speak with another guy, also dressed in black.

I just shrugged it off and continued enjoying the rest of our Disney World vacation, completely unaware of what had just happened. It wasn’t until I was around 18 that I realized I had accidentally caused a bomb scare at Disney World—and casually walked through an active crime scene to retrieve my backpack.
