I live in a small town and a few weeks ago a dollar general opened and it’s the talk of the town like everyone is so excited about it 😅

As a small town girl, I felt this video. Nearest mall is an hour and a half away and it’s not even a good mall either. Dollar General built a new building and will be moving in soon and everyone is freaking out, and the biggest thing that ever happened here was like 6 years ago when we got a Domino’s Pizza on the corner by the visitor’s center.

I remember how devastated everyone was when our Subway closed.
5 years later we got a Dunkin though so everyone was pretty hyped for that xd

Grew up in a small town... one of those everyone knows everyone. Then I moved to an even smaller town... so small you knew everyone. Literally. All 3 elementary middle and high school were literally 3 separate small buildings in one spot. You could walk from one end of town to the other in like 5 minutes or less... and from there we moved to Fort Worth... 😅
So this is huge huge accurate! 😂😢

I live in a really small town and although i didnt grow up there, it is like this. You get used to the minimal traffick, the quietness, the tranquility. On the flip side, the closest walmart, mall, and any big chain store at all is an hour and a half away, so we have to make dsy trips to go grocery shopping becsuse the proces here are so bad. When i visit home, i feel so nervous driving in the traffick when it used to be so normal for me. I like the small town lofe but part of me misses the noise, listening to the traffick and the sidwalk walkers beeping at night, the bussiness, being able to go shopping just because and not planning a huge trip. It has its pros and cons.
