Xfinity 10G Is A Scam!

Verizon 10G is a complete scam! If you are living in the city this might be a great option. But 5G can't travel through walls or across long distances without lots of repeaters. Even today a lot of companies put 5G when your cell phone really could be using a 4G connection.

Hey bro, 10g isn't about cell phone. It's a fiber to the home product. 10gbps down.

10G refers to DOCSIS 4.0 from my understanding. Has nothing to do with cell usage. DOCSIS 4.0 means you’ll be able to theoretically get 10 gig down 10 gig up. It’s a way to compete with fiber

The Xfinity representative I talked to literally said there no home Internet offered that works off cell tower's.

You're mixing Xfinity with Verizon in your words. They are just advertising mostly. Modems and routers can't use those max speeds yet. Only 2.4 or 5g GHZ.

My self as a Systems Engineer I can tell you straight up that you are sounding like all kinds of wrong craziness 😅😅😅 those getaway will not primarily reliy on Verizons 5g network but will primarily reliy on a full duplex Docsis 4.0 hfc coax network that provides a overall 10gbps throughout and will only ues Verizons 5g network as a fall-over backup

Bro you don’t know the difference between cellular data and wifi because if cellular data. Was the wifi Xfinity used then why can’t I connect my Pc to a cell tower? Also blame t-mobile wifi as ThEY are the ones using 5g towers and turning them into a wifi signal

10G is just a name, you will get new band that’s 6G band, upload speed up to 500-600 (currently we are providing up to 100 mbps upload speed) and you’ll get storm ready connection, that means your services will remain active while storm/bad weather.

Huh….I think you’re getting you’re information crossed!!! You have xfinity 10G in the background but your are talking about Verizon. 10G is cable internet not cellular. If you are talking about the Verizon 5G you are almost correct, but it depends on your signal where you at. Your signal is almost the same on what you get with your cell phone. Instead of using your personal hotspot on your cell phone you can use their 5G equipment throughout your house. I think the most you get out of that is 25mbps cell signal.

Is not a scam just probably doesn’t work for your use case it’s meant for people with a complex Wi-Fi network taking advantage of the 2.5 Ethernet standard speeds on multiple systems, Nas and/or servers they might have capable of 2.5 speed with no bottlenecking at the front end of your 10g connection

People want that faster upload speeds as well if the do content or transfer large files or multiple people in the home who also prolly work at home 👍🏻

I’ll be nicer than everyone else just in case you’re not trolling. 10g is in reference to the build out of the 10 gigabit network using the same coax copper that has existed for years in many homes. Essentially getting the same benefits and speed of fiber for less cost but the technology is super difficult to implement and a little bit expensive for now. I work for the business side of Comcast and it is entirely normal to get these confused. 5G home internet is from Verizon Att, T-Mobile and so on and that is what you are referring to with the cell phone type of connection. But if you are just trolling then meh whatever I guess

This guy knows nothing. 10g is 10 gig through a coax or fiber line into your home. Not cell service

This guy couldn’t afford Xfinity that’s why he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. 10G is not related to 5G or LTE, unless you are talking about mobile service you genius wanna be. Xfinity uses COAX or fiber for comcast business. You probably can only afford Verizon wifi or AT&T, and it’s spotty because you live in the basement using your old devices thats why your internet sucks.

That's why bits are advertised over bytes

Nah man you need to look into the network issues. It's way worse than they admit. I got 10g in an area I've had no issues in the past 2 years and it drops all day. Been all over the forums It's happening alot.

Xfinity is the worst cable company I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend them at all. Expectedly the moron agents that you talk to. The right hand never knows what the left hand is doing. They won't get another dime out of me. Guarantee that

Stooopppp this whole video is so misleading . 10g doesn't exist yet. Xfinity has 2g = 2000 mbps have tested 6g = 6000 mbps and will eventually have 10g= 10000mbps . You are confusing Verizons 5g internet which is like a Hotspot. Xfinity is hard wired Verizon is not.
