1st Class Regional Express (RE) Train Travel on the way to Munich.
To get in the lounge you need a first class ICE train ticket, RE first class does not work.

For the Lounge you need to have a first class ticket with a long distance train in it (ICE or IC). Sadly since last year only people Flex-price tickets get acces(you can take any train at that day as long you drive in the correct direction). You can also get in with a BahnCard with premium status (2.000 statuspoints)(There are status points and reward points). Small tipp if you have a BahnCard with points: With 500 of any points you can upgrade your 2nd class ticket to frist class and get also access to the lounge. If you're under 27 you can get the MyBahnCard50 which costs 5/6€ monthly and you get 50% off all flex price tickets and collect points :D

Great review, sir! Suppose I bought a German Rail Pass 1st Class and I am taking an ICE from Frankfurt to Munich. Do I qualify for the DB Lounge?
