"To be honest I am starting to feel a bit uncomfortable about the whole situation, so if you wouldn't mind helping me out, that would be marvelous"
THE most british way to ask someone for rescue from a danger.

I like how he goes from being completely calm to literally shouting in the end

I watched the video to know in a couple of seconds some fast and simple technique to get out of quicksand by myself, discovered you need a prepared 4 people team with equipment that no one in the world has and still he almost died

Such a british response

I didn't realize it would take that much force and effort to get him out. Great video.

this honestly made me consider quicksand to be more dangerous than I thought.

The whole time I was waiting for George to be like:
“Well you’re in too deep mate, I can’t get you out now. Bye!”

Natural selection dictates that if someone stands in quicksand for 8 minutes before realizing they were stuck.. It was probably their time.

I think me and my cousins came across really slow acting quick sand. The tide was out and we wanted to get to this small island in a bay that we always wanted to explore. Half way there our feet kept getting stuck in the sand and we could pull them out but our other foot would sink faster. There was no where to stand that was solid. We ended up getting really muddy and covered in wet sand. My main concern was my parents getting mad at me for getting my clothes all covered in wet sand. ( We would lean forward on the beach or fall over cuz we lost our balance, that's how the sand got on our clothes) Anyway we gave up on the island and just returned to shore but if that sand was any looser we could have ended up in proper quick sand.

British person’s first reaction to being swallowed by quicksand: “I appear to be sinking”.

Good thing he was wearing a hard hat and glasses to protect him from all that quicksand.

I love how George avoided getting him out until he asked him to

0:44 John wants George to confirm he knows what he's doing. Somehow George does not sound that convincing.
