In Kurdish, it's called 'Gyros, ' but those who have been to Greece call it 'Yros.' I always enjoy your food with my family 😍😍😍

To be honest, if you wish to brush or drizzle or spay olive oil on the pitta bread it's fine. This is meant to be a cleaner approach to gyros. We did grow up with gyros where the pitta bread was full of oil and the whole construction was messy, it's still street-junk food and frankly speaking, I do prefer if the pitta bread is lightly drizzled with olive oil, but if the quality of the pitta bread is top notch, as in this case, it's not required. That's me complaining because many gyros' shops nowadays have inferior quality pitta bread.

Here in Iceland, our main sauce is Mayo with Ketchup that is called Kokteilsósa.

The main difference to what you had, is that Icelandic Maya is without ANY acid (no mustard or vinegar)

This makes it Vastly Superior to the "normal" Mayo, try it

Man all the haters. Get over it hahaha. I was lazy and used chicken breast, added some yougart and olive oil to the marinade for fat.
