ENGLAND'S ABANDONED CASTLE - Clun Castle

In the final video from our visit to Shropshire, we visited Clun Castle. Clun Castle is a remarkable fortification in Shropshire in the tranquil and beautiful English countryside town of Clun. Today it is left in a ruined state, and is abandoned currently left alone by English Heritage which looks after the castle. A castle here has stood since the days of the Norman Invasion under William the Conqueror. However today, Clun Castle is completely abandoned and ruined and is left in a derelict fashion. It's extremely unique in the fact that it has two mottes and baileys. Walking around Clun, you can really picture what this castle would have looked like.
