The much anticipated Enneagram Series is here. Did you catch the main episode? If not, you will want to watch that episode before watching the individual personality type segments. In last week’s introduction episode, Tracy chats with Louise Sanders from The Stress Experts about all things Enneagram. They cover what the Enneagram is, how it works, and the main benefits of knowing this personality typing system.

Personality Type 4 - THE INVIDUALIST

This personality is characterized as…
The Sensitive, Withdrawn Type: Expressive, Dramatic, Self-Absorbed, and Temperamental.

Fours are self-aware, sensitive, and reserved. They are emotionally honest, creative, and personal, but can also be moody and self-conscious. Withholding themselves from others due to feeling vulnerable and defective, they can also feel disdainful and exempt from ordinary ways of living. They typically have problems with melancholy, self-indulgence, and self-pity. At their Best: inspired and highly creative, they are able to renew themselves and transform their experiences.

Does this sound like you or someone you know? If so, tune into today’s episode where Tracy and Louise explore the type 4 personality type.

Also, be sure to tune into tomorrow’s segment, where we unveil the next personality type.

Thank you. If you don’t mind, I’d like to talk about this ‘Creativity’ steoretyping. As soon as someone mentions “Creativity”, everyone thinks ART. However, and this is just my perspective, a creative person doesn’t always paint, or plays music, or is an actor, etc. Creation can be many things, for example, “The art of observation”, or “Connecting the dots and seeing the big picture”, or “Leading”, “Predicting”, “Growing, as an individual or even a gardener”, “creative thinking”, and so on are forms of creativeness. And yes, being an activist, fighting for the rights and freedoms of other -humans, non-humans- and “Creating a better world” is creative. Even putting a different spin on things, big or small, is creative.
