Thank you, Maria! I was using the wrong soil for my two desert roses and they both experienced root rot. I cut one a little wonky, but the other is thriving. Fingers crossed its ugly sister will survive, too!

Great stuff. I just cut the rot off a D Rose bottom rot I had 20 years after leaving it outside in upper 30s. I now have bonsai it. I first dried it in sun then put an electric fan on it. I learned that from cacti, it dries them out fast! The question is, how long does it take for it to grow roots???
