Helldivers 2 MOST UNDERRATED WEAPON (Arc Thrower)

Helldivers is here with some horde shooting fun. I played the first Helldivers in coop with my brothers enough to get all the equipment. Loved pretty much every aspect of it. As far as I can tell so far the sequel is the same exact game but in 3rd person. We have a lot of the awesome tools we had before such as turrets, jetpacks, and plenty of guns.

The Galaxy’s Last Line of Offence. Enlist in the Helldivers and join the fight for freedom across a hostile galaxy in a fast, frantic, and ferocious third-person shooter. This is a direct sequel to Helldivers which came out years ago. You fight a couple different alien types solo or with up to 3 friends. Switch up your gear with missiles from the sky or slow-inducing gas. All kinds of tolls can be used in combat in a variety of ways. And you will be fighting in different environments from the frigid cold mountains to the plant-infested rocky region. Take up arms and push back against the aliens who threaten humanity once more.

Edit: I pretty much main this thing now and it's like playing Alien Storm but on steroids!

I've been using the Arc Thrower even when the meta was Shield and Railgun.

As it stands now, it is still a little bit underutilized, but I can see why. There are instances where the Arc Thrower shits itself, like when there are corpses, terrain or a stray ally nearby.

Love when an Arc user kills the team 3-4 times while not paying attention. If I see someone using this, I roll to another objective.

Man I'm glad the arc gun is starting to get the recognition it deserves, I always use it and people don't seem to understand why I love it so much. More often than not, I can use it solely, and pull out my primary in a pinch (ie when teammates are danger close or when enemies are too close to be hit easily).

Armor piercing, unlimited ammo, no overheat, variable range, up to 3 enemies hit per shot? Yes please.

I found one of these in those vault things, was trying to figure out how to use it, and I zapped my brother and he instantly died. Best videogame moment I've had in a while.

A great weapon is the grenade launcher, it two hits spewers, destroys bug holes, two hits the shield, rocket and that other automaton, also destroys bile titan sacks.

Serriously. As the guy running light armor and taking objs and samples while everyone else groups, this thing is a MUST. This, rover, offensive strategem of choice (airstrike, orbital laser, 500kg bomb, ect), and a flexible final slot and you're an absolute beast against the bugs. I tend to use the final slot for desposable anti tank. I just find the extra 2 missiles are great for opening a clear on a nest or objective and the extra anti armor is always nice on the harder difficulties
