Best overview I've found of what to buy for a new homeowner. When the kids start buying their own places, I don't need them stealing my tools! Thanks!

Very good video, all I would add is a 5 in 1 Painters tool.

for a new homeowner who doesn't already have all or most of these tools which means they probably don't work on a lot of stuff anyway, Harbor Freight is super underrated and that person should almost definitely buy everything there with the exception of the power tools

on the topic of hex keys, I would suggest a set of standard and metric with ball ends, its only a couple bucks more but having the ball end lets you spin screws while holding it at some surprising angles, which is stupid handy especially with little kid furniture

Just starting this video. Why would screwdriver bits be easier to lose than drill bits? My interchangeable bits have homes built into the screwdriver.

As far as the screw driver advice, a good dedicated insulated set can be used for everyday stuff and electrical when you eventually need it. A good all in one screw driver with bit storage as a goto kitchen draw screw driver can be invaluable. A dedicated flat head for prying and beating on otherwise.

So, how come no PVC cutter? Haven't seen those projects lately. I will though, take out a loan to buy the tools mentioned! Great video. I still have tools that over 60 years old.

I'm having trouble finding a metric crescent wrench.

I disagree with your screw driver advice. Flat head and phillips head screws are a waste of time and money. I will only use them if they increase the look of my project... otherwise, it's star head screws all day every day. I have a milwauke racheting screw driver with interchangeable bits.
