Best channel on YT for DIYers. He’s a good teacher. Great explanations and visuals.

It’s $30, but I use an electric screwdriver by Skil that has both a light and a voltage detector in the tip. It’s great if you’re messing with lights or outlets.

Do you have a video on has to use the endoscopy? If not that would be very helpful. Thank you for doing this channel, you are helping me expand my knowledge.

Great topic discussing what tools to have available for a job.

Let me ask you, if I had a toolbox exclusive for plumbing and a 2nd toolbox just for electrical … what are the tools that are mandatory for each of those trades?

(The reason I ask; I keep taking way-to-many tools when I go to do jobs - a waste of time and energy, always bringing a bunch of useless tools, and very frustrating when I realize I left a necessary tool home.

I really like that stud finder and believe that I need this in my life lol. I have hung two tv mounts and this thing would have saved me a lot of headaches.

That endoscope is a great idea. I’ll be purchasing it later for sure. It will be great to investigate a large void in my wall I’m certain I’ve heard a mouse in.

Beyond your target, but instead of the B&D electric screwdriver, I highly recommend the gyroscopic one from Dewalt. There is no direction switch or thumb trigger; it automatically senses direction and variable speed on/off. Very handy for carpel-tunnel. It also has the bending handle and is very rugged. I paid $99 for the screwdriver, 2 lithium batteries, a charger, and carry-bag. Having change-out batteries is a real plus; if one empties out you don't have to sit around waiting for an internal battery to be recharged.

All cool tools, but none of them are must haves.
