We ran two speed tests using the DEWALT DCD999 18V XR Premium Combi Drill to test how POWERSTACK compares with our traditional 5Ah cylindrical cell batteries.
It's the combination of higher voltage and higher currents that mean that the drill has the power to maintain its speed in application and to break through the material, even when using a large diameter bit. This means that with a POWERSTACK battery you can complete more applications, more quickly than with an equivalent cylindrical cell battery.
