Показать описание
In this video we compare the Dewalt Powerstack 5.0 vs the Flexvolt 6.0 battery and do a side-by-side drill comparison. Do the few seconds gained per screw or hole justify the cost of the Dewalt Powerstack? If you're drilling thousands of holes a day, this battery *might* be worth the cost.

Wow the size and weight difference is a lot. I got two Flexvolt 9ah on the way from some deal. I never checked to see the weight! 3.2lbs! Yeah the Powerstack seems better especially since Flexvolt batters are so expensive. Maybe part of the cost is making it so it can do 20v and 60v. Just seems Flexvolt advantage tools should be called Powerstack advantage tools instead! I got two 9ah Flexvolts a 8amp charger and bag with Flexvolt recipicating saw for $299 with tax and shipping. And I was just going to sell the saw maybe even the charger and just keep batteries and bag.

if I only had one choice between them. Would you suggest me Powerstack 5 ah or flexvolt 6ah for daily work?

Thanks for the test!! If and when they go on sale - I’ll be more interested then. In any which case, either battery would do ya.

Using the Power Stack 2amp vs a cell 4 or 5 amp the 4 and 5amp XR work longer. I want to buy the 5Amp Power Stack next but, the cost is to much for me to justify right now.

Yeah but if you own a Dewalt 60v circular saw (I don't know why any Dewalt user who is looking at performance batteries wouldn't) the Powerstacks are incompatible.

SDS hammer drill .... That's where this powerstack shines

Pouch cell batteries last a lot longer than "can" cell batteries. Even My Dell Computers battery lasted 10 years before it swelled up and was no longer able to charge. I got a free 95 dollar 5 AH powerstack from Lowes when I bought a new Dewalt 805 hammer drill.

"Unless you use a 1000 screws a day....aren't going to show up anywhere in my opinion". Theres a lot of us who use these tools all day for our jobs right? Like thats probably the majority of ppl who watch these videos. And its kinda how infrastructure is built. So yeah it makes a huge difference. And so does longevity of the battery
