Adams, “Old School”) a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm’s best paralegal Rachel (Megan Markle, “Horrible Bosses”) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty, “Brothers & Sisters”) to help him serve justice. With a photographic memory and the street smarts of a hustler, Mike proves to be a legal prodigy despite the absence of bonafide legal credentials.

Now I understood why Louis handles the associates. He may have his problems, but that man's ability is criminally underrated.

If she was so frustrated with her work, why didn't she just tell Rachel that she would like different assignments to showcase her other expertise? Like why, after a warning, hand it off thinking you won't be caught?! I would have fired her on the spot.

This is so true and real in the corporate environment. People who are capable should be in the right positions, but if you are relying on other people to do your job for you, then you will see the door.

As a budding lawyer i can tell you this..in legal field you should know every small task...rachel was absolutely right..sometimes those small tasks can be really helpful in future cases...i myself experienced that...that's why we need to do so many internships.. Coz we need it to build the needed skills..and if u r brilliant u will get the promotion before others..knowing small tasks will only make you better

I worked in a very prominent law office and nothing like this ever went down. It was the most professional office I ever worked at. Ive worked in doctors offices for over twenty years and I saw this kind of stuff all the time. Crazy. I'm not in an office anymore and very happy for it. People are respectful to each other in college but I've found adult world to be full of resentful, jealous, immature maniacs. Physicians included

I don't like Donna much in that confrontation. She didn't really give Rachel much of a chance to handle the situation before stepping in.

Seeing the associates and the firm actually having other employees again is one of my favourite aspects of season 7

Rachel shouldn't be arguing with Stephanie, it's a common mistake if you want to gain respect, don't enter those silly arguments. She should warn her that if it happens again, it's over. No argument, do what you have been told to do, or leave. Period. I feel like Miranda Priestly would handle it with "bore someone else with these explanations" and "that's all". That's the attitude, but it requires experience.

Stephanie’s entitlement is appalling and Louis didn’t deserve what happened to him.

Donna really pulled the "I'm here; you're here" and didn't cap it with "do your job"

The whole point is that Rachel needed to learn how to be a boss, Donna sadly semi ruins it by taking the role herself because Donna is..well Donna. But it doesn't matter how long she's worked there. Stephanie is still ana associate and nothing more. 4th year or not she needs to listen or else there's no chance of moving up later on. Mike was lucky to break rules the way he did because he Harvey on his side from the start. Stephanie could be as brilliant as Mike and in this situation it would mean nothing

Now I'm not angry at Louis for having behaved with Stephanie the way he did

Donna stepping in just completely undermined Rachel’s authority and showed a bad example.

Stephanie should have done the task assigned to her initially then bring it up to Rachel. Why would a manager want to promote someone who thinks certain tasks are beneath them? Sometimes we have to do things we don’t like.

Rachel should never have been leading the associates but they should have fired her on the spot. You can’t ignore instructions from a superior, and you especially can’t attack them when they question you about it. All she had to do was complete this once and there would have been no issues

'You're here, I'm Harvey stole this line from Cameron and Donna stole it from Harvey... Now what? Stephanie are you gonna steal it too? 🤨

It’s silly that Rachel who became a lawyer yesterday was put in charge of the associates anyway. Pure nepotism

It seems Donna learned a thing or two from her time working for Harvey.

I really love how Donna came in to help Rachel.
Stephanie really needed to learn how to respect authority.

And after this, every viewer respects Louis' leadership lol
