Great information TK, personally I’m glad to see Qualcomm losing their monopoly on the Chip-market now that there’s more competition there is more performance enhancement. I remember Nvidia Tegra X1 gave QUALCOMM a run for their money sad to see them go.

I honestly don't believe that improvement is 400 000% (?) like some youtubers said, but in the end - it all depends on manufacturers and their android skins and camera software. Add a bunch of built in apps and bloatware that can't be deinstalled and in day to day usage (except maybe for gaming) I don't think difference is going to be so noticeable

4k 120 will actually have proper hdr aswell as its capable of 12mp 240fps which in 4k shooting means one high and one low exposure frame resulting in hdr 120 fps

Seens like a bit of a fluff piece. As much as I would like to believe all of this, it's Qualcomm.... The same guys who always over promise and paint the best picture for themselves. I feel like this needs to be said. They are also the rain or phones don't get long term support our the arm on PC is a sham. It's certainly not just a windows optimization issue, that's just a part of it. I hope you can provide a more well rounded over view.

I'm getting... A feeling of suspicious, this whole tech summit was nice, but I don't think the upgrades coming from SD888 feels particularly big, double at best...

So why if they did the whole tech summit to hype up their first gen of arm v9 chips?!

I think Samsung with the Exynos RDNA2 SoC is the one that is giving me more interest overall, since bringing so many GPU decoders and also hardware RT feels like a great implementation for the future of smartphones, heck, let that alone, even a tiny rdna2 GPU might better than Adreno of the SD8G1, this coming year is getting really interesting!
