How to Build a Hidden Storage Coffee Table | Mid Century Modern DIY

Today on Modern Builds I'm going to make a classic mid century modern coffee table with a twist. It has a drawer hidden in plain sight in the apron of the table. Initially the apron was supposed to sit behind the legs , which would conceal the drawer even more, but I ended up liking the way it looked with the apron on the outside of the leg assemble. I've put versions of both in the PDF Plans This project was a ton of fun and is exactly the style of DIY woodworking I enjoy doing. Plans linked below.

I'm not a Craftsman fan, or a Mid-century modern fan, BUT I am a Mike Montgomery fan. Mike's energy and creativity (LOVED the recent patio reno) will carry him a long way.
