I just pulled the trigger on the iPad 10. I know the 11 is coming out soon, but it’s dirt cheap.

It’s a throwaway iPad to use around the house without having to worry about battery degrading. And then in a few years you can resell them for not much but it won’t depreciate that much.

I just recently purchased my iPad 9 just for basic use, and for its classic look--the home button. It still receives all the update, etc. so I think this device will be around awhile. Should they decide to phase this out, those of us who possess one of these artifacts should be allowed to receive updates, etc. Thanks for the review in 2025. 😊

I got this iPad in 2023, and earlier this month upgraded to the iPad Pro M4. My 9 was getting laggy, and I restored it to factory settings, but ever since then it’s just been staying stuck on the Apple logo until its battery dies. Best Buy was unable to help as the iPad kept giving errors while it was hooked up to the computer, so soon I’m going to take it to an Apple store so hopefully they can fix it for me to turn it into Verizon (I’m doing a trade-in deal).
