I was baptized Catholic, so we were taught the fury of God and shame of pleasure. The church was also an obscenely ornate gothic masterpiece. So I'd sit in there wondering why God needed such a nice house while people lived in squalor and poverty in the surrounding neighbourhoods. So I abandoned God and religion. I became an atheist; rational and material. But the more I studied physics, the more I noticed the underlying intelligence in the fabric of the universe. I could no longer deny the existence of a higher power. And a couple years ago I had a spiritual experience, where I felt God's presence in my life. So lately I've been reading everything from the Tao Te Ching, the Kybalion and the hermetic texts, to the bible. There is more wisdom in the ancient world than any modern institution.

I TRUST YOU LORD! I keep faith even as I constantly struggle to provide for my children and as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries. Jesus has guided me through many of storms and I’m so grateful. As a single mother raising two children with special needs things are challenging on me especially since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus I’m overwhelmed. That's where it's different for me from you. All my life, i was not relligious. Never read a bible im 58 now. Then God graced me with the Holy Spirit over just 3 months ago. I saw Jesus & was graced with all of his essence & could feel what he felt. Such love & how we are so loved i could physically feel. Since then, I own 10 antique bibles. Yes I can relate it to you. Being raised in a Muslim family we always get to know that God is very ruthless and he is waiting for us to go to hell. Which actually drove me away from my religion then life happened and I started to read the Holy Quran and perspective of religion and God is changing day by day. Where God is stating. Hey Quazi, I stumbled upon one of your videos a couple of days ago and I can’t begin to describe how incredibly greatful I am for that to happen! There have been a lot of things that I started to question about our society and what we are taught. Seeing that I’m not crazy for feeling this way and knowing with my very being that there’s so much more to life than what we’re taught is a blessing in itself and gives me confidence in my integrity and faith in myself.
