1. Probability measures the likelihood of an event occurring.
• It is represented by a number between 0 and 1.

2. Sum of Probabilities:
• The sum of all probabilities in a sample space equals 1.
• P(Event) + P(Not Event) = 1.

3. Complement Rule:
• The probability of an event not occurring is 1 minus the probability of the event.
• P(Not Event) = 1 - P(Event).

4. Impossible Event:

• If an event is impossible, its probability is 0.
• P(Impossible Event) = 0.
