I have been fighting very very hard to understand the reason behind rejecting the null hypothesis even though I went through all those lectures explaining the process of deciding significance level, p values etc almost thousand times! But O my God, all this time I was missing a simple trick here which Mr.Sal explained so intuitively! Oh Sal I am forever in deep love with you! You have made my life so enjoyable and my quest for knowledge so easily reachable! May Allah bless you and your family! (This video and the video the idea behind hypothesis testing combined gave me absolute peace about why we reject extremely low probability or low p values which I have been grappling hard for last one month to understand) Almighty has given a thorough intuition over human psychology and you explain things so beautifully!!! Just absolute zapper!! So much love and respect from Bangladesh❤️💕

This video actually just covers probability, and the multiplicative law of probability of consecutive independent events. It does not hypothesis testing as the title says.

Thanks for great video! However, at 3:07 Sal says that he will round to nearest hundredth but at 3:12, Sal says and writes equal to but it shall be approximately to ~ since it is rounded.
