In this video, I show you how to use side mirrors when changing lanes. If you are going to be changing lanes, whether you are doing it on a main road on on the highway, the side mirrors will play a very important role in the process. With that being said, there are certain things that you should do with your mirrors, and certain ways to look at them that will allow you to change lanes safely. I show you exactly how to do it in this video, and show you the role that your side mirrors play in the lane changing process.

I'm from Peru is the second country with worst traffic if you turn your head like that and a Walker pass you can kill them ... so they teach a way to change lines using just the mirrors so you can be watching still the front because if you go 80 miles per hour 2 seconds for do the head maneuver is 80 meters that the car went by itself, so it is dangerous do the maneuver and they make you drive everything with mirrors, now the reason why they have so many accidents is because people drive drunk ahahah and the roads are small ... I was speaking with my husband and he keeps telling me to turn my head for check again but I drive always defensive so I'm kind of scare to turn my head all the time I think is like being unfocused in the real road so I change without be turning my head completely I watch everything through the mirrors, now I'm driving in the States I want to know what is the best way to do it ... I never had a car accident and I never had a problem driving, and I had experience driving in the worst countries in the world.... but my husband is from USA an he is all drama, but I'm pretty sure if I take him to Peru or India I dont know if he can drive xD

Why would I want a full third of my mirror wasted looking at my car? The rearview shows you what’s behind, the side mirror shows you what’s on your flank. There are no blind spots, only poor mirror positioning.

this is actually not right way to set up side mirrors. You dont want to see your rear bumpers now ik why people do that bcz they want to have referance point or scared if they dont see the rear handle its gonna vanish lol. But trust me you are narrowing your field of vision lot by doing this. You want to push the side mirror bit more where you can see lot of the road ahead
