Wow! This is powerful indeed. I can feel the Holy Spirit moving as I digest this study. To God be the glory. Distinctly powerful the part mentioning Joseph and the impact of his actions. Dear friends a light has come in my mind. It was the evil one, the deceiver that was urging those people to temp JESUS to come off that cross with their taunts. Thank GOD that JESUS even in HIS dying moments held on to FATHER’S will.

Why? What evil has He done? No evil. His crime was the envy of the religious leaders. They hated His popularity with the common people. They resented that his teaching of the truth exposed their false teachings of traditions and their hypocrisy, their love of money, and of power. He did not purpose to upset them but the truth has a tendency to upset some. Let us be sure to follow only those leaders that teach Bible truth and live according to the principles given therein.
