Take up your cross.

Take up your cross and follow Jesus
take up your cross day after day,
He'll not forsake you nor ever leave you,
so take up your cross and He'll lead the way.

Though some days are trying,
temptations assail you,
put darkness behind,
let Light light the way,
give your life to Jesus He'll walk beside you,
just trust and believe,
and your hope He'll renew.

He carried that cross with our guilt and struggles,
He placed our sins on His wounded shoulders,
He faced the test and every trial,
for prayer gave Him strength,
and God gave Him power.

I'll keep on trusting,
I'll keep on believing,
I'll pray for strength,
and that God given power,
through every test, temptation and trial,
I'll hold onto Jesus,
for His power is mine.

Thank you Hope Channel for yoir wonder minstry in sharing God's love to the world. The lesson this week really hit me hard that my sins crucified this loving Jesus a sinless son of God. The crime he committed was loving a sinner like me. He could walked away and leave to doom but on that day His mind was not only on the crowd that day but Jesus see me thousand years ahead. Ot makes me wonder why so many people in this world could not see this amazing love of Jesus towards us and the hope of His soon return and resurrection for those who died in Christ.
