I agree with Mark. This video just created a lot of questions. I am not a pro detailer and was hoping to get some good info. All I got was a lot of questions.

Creating an instructional video on how to remove swirl mark's is great and all but if you're going to create one.... actually create one.  What kind of cutting pad?  Foam, wool or what?  What kind of compound?  Cutter, what level of cut?  What type of polish?  What Speed in varying cut and polish machines should the range be?  Etc.  Many of us know these things but people coming here to learn,  could make matters worse.

Wow, I might as well retire if its that easy. We have to remember, its never as easy as it looks. I have only been doing it 43 years! I am lucky, as most folks cant endure the labor involved in "Paint Rejuvantion" Be well! Shine Since 1969!

Meguiar's Ultimate Compound
Meguiar's Maroon Cutting Foam Disc
Meguiar's MT300 at 4000 opm (speed 4 on a PC 7424).

Probably four cross hatch (east/west, north/south) passes.

This is great and all, but there are multiple abrasion grits in different compounds, and without telling you which to start with and which to finish with, this video is useless. You could in fact, make swirl marks worse.

Have to agree with others. Absolutely zero information provided. Doubt if they were applying rubbing compound, but who knows. Best advice - find a better video with step by step instructions.

This is worse than no info at all. What pad? What compound? what RPM of the polisher etc etc. You have a better chance of ruining the paint rather than making it better.
