I am an LSE graduate and I 100% agree to everything you said! Also, master's at LSE means you are just going to some buildings to learn & study. No "campus" experience, which I think is very important to embrace the school and feel that you belong there. It felt very corporate.

Really useful content. Thanks for sharing this.
I've read that pursuing a master at LSE is a really demanding experience, I haven't found much more information about llm experience.
Greetings from 🇨🇴

I graduated 40 years ago with an MSc Economics in Industrial Relations. Going to the LSE was both and accomplishment that stayed with me my entire career through many pivots and moves and a life changing experience. Don't second guess an opportunity like this if it comes your way. Grab it.

Thank you so much for brutally honest, but still respectfully share the plus and minus of LSE! I already got the offer, and currently considering to go to LSE.. really love your video, it keeps my expectation level at a healthy state haha..

Can confirm the final exam grading is just a UK thing. It's how high school is (I did 26 exams in two months of my last year of highschool and that'a your entire grade).

And for college level onto undergraduates here it is also the same with each module/class being entirely down to one assignment or exam.

I have never actually thought how weird that might seem if you've gone to school outside of the UK including the grading, it's very much a culture here of send it off and pray you get the grade you want back without much way of figuring out how it's graded.

Totally empathise with you. I hope I won't encounter such sentiment when I study in UCL Global School for Health. I have never liked or wished to study in LSE once in my life. I just don't find or feel the alumni network is cohesive and united. Congrats to have finally graduated from LSE... Make sure you get your well-deserved ROI. Live your life and fudge LSE. 😂🎉

Quite a different culture between Management and Economics at every university. Economics doesn’t view Management staff as real academics. They don’t view Management as a real discipline. It’s viewed as a jumble of pseudoscience based on psychology and case studies. Economics has big grand theories with loads of mathematics of data. It’s totally different. I would expect Economics thinks Management is trying to grab some of the accumulated academic credibility to boost the Management course.

Hey I just wanted to ask a question for curiosity as I am going to apply to university this year so it would be really helpful when choosing one. I was wondering if you have an equal chance of job prospects if you went to Durham university or if you went to LSE for economics.

Hi, thank you for your video; it was really helpful! I recently received an offer for the MISDI program at LSE's Department of Management. I was wondering if you have connected with any students from this program and if they experienced similar issues that the Economics and Management cohort faced? Thank you so much :)
