Black Widow was worthy in the comics. And she didn't attempt to lift Mjolnir in Age of Ultron. She also sacrificed herself, so the Avengers can get the Soul Stone. And despite her being a Black Widow, she didn't kill anyone in Ironman 2.

According to the original Norse Mythology, you don’t have to be so-called worthy to hold Mjolnir. You just have to be strong enough

In the avengers video game they recently added Bucky and if you want you can play as him a try to lift Mjolnir it does move, but it’s not canon

Captain America was almost worthy in age of Ultron, but only one thing kept him from lifting it. When Wanda puts cap under her spell, we see his true fear. Cap's true fear is full peace and no war. Thor waged an unnecessary way against Laufey in his movie, which is the first reason why he became unworthy. When cap threw down his shield, or when Thor gave his life, both those moments symbolized that cap and Thor were ready to give up war which is when they became worthy.

Fun fact: Spider-Man would be worthy to lift the hammer if he would have the will to kill. Otherwise, he has the qualifications. You can argue MCU Spider-Man can lift by that logic but he wanted to kill Goblin for selfish vengeance, not for a glorious battle to protect people like Thor and Cap.

Spider-Man 2099 can lift the hammer and uses it as a paperweight in the comics, also to intimidate unethical board members of Alchemax

In terms of characters who I think are purely worthy I definitely think Black Panther is up there. Peter’s in the running, but I’m actually not sure if he’s worthy just yet… I’d a lot of the Avengers have “willing to sacrifice themselves” down.
