I’ve actually worn one of these. They’re very heavy and a little hard to move around very far because of the cord, but it’s really cool being able to just go underwater in your “normal” clothes and walk around

Normal scuba gear is much more easy to move in

I’ve tried this in Mexico a couple years ago, and it was great! I saw rays, tunas among other species of fishes. The helmet didn’t feel heavy at all under the water but, the first few seconds felt claustrophobic. But all in all, an awesome experience!

you need to be trained to use this, because of the weight, its easy to tip over and flood the helmet, then you would need to swim to the surface with fins and not hold your breath, or switch to an alternate air supply underwater
