Flying pizza box enthusiast here, He really needs to flip the plane upside down so the fuselage is below the wing, That will increase stability a LOT, Also use vortex generators on the leading edge.

The radiomasters w expresslrs are great i started on drones and now ditched spektrum and now switched my whole fleet ofnplanes over....1 wore telemwtry....call outs...hall gimballs and billet sticks with a touchscreen for 300 and binding is simple and u can piggyback relievers....and range is insane as well with a 250 hz packet rate with 1 watt of power to the rf...all good things for a third of the price and u can buy replacement cant compare
