Just to clarify, it was the DMCA Copyright Troll who was responsible for domino effect, and not Nintendo. Nintendo would never send in the DMCA Takedowns unless their IP were profited off without permission. And the fact that Garry Newman of all people caved in for the troll is throwing the community under the bus. I feel like that all the effort in spreading awareness is all for nothing, but at least we are preserving the models for future endeavors.

I wish things could have been different if Garry Newman realized that everything written in that document is all poorly written and not legitimate... But here we freaking are...

This is not real. It's someone claiming to be Nintendo. Troll has been going after Nintendo content on the workshop, filing false DMCA claims to workshop uploaders. The same thing has started to happen with the Source Filmmaker workshop, and I'd imagine it'll happen to Left 4 Dead 2 at some point too.
