This streamer is amazing. For one, he can read out loud - something surprising majority of streamers (people? Americans?) are practically incapable of without excessive amount of stuttering, replacing words with either different words or gibberish, skipping words, and getting the pacing and tonality of the sentence completely wrong.

For two, he's calm, observant, thoughtful, does not interrupt in-game characters speaking (within the main loop of the game or cutscenes alike), and yet provides exactly right amount of commentary, which is often informative and factual rather than emotional or opinion based. It's a pleasure to listen to, and it feels like listening to an intelligent person, which is a joy and a rarity.

For three, he's actually very knowledgeable of the world and the lore the game is set in and provides in-game-world extra background information, which by definition blends perfectly with the game itself, and as a result, pretty much presents to the viewer of the stream / let's play a better game, where the game itself is already absolutely phenomenal.

And finally, the guy actually role plays this role playing game, going as far as making up and providing actual backstory of his own character, becoming a true co-creator of the experience, with some writing and acting performances thrown in. This, my friends, isn't rare, it's exceptionally rare.

It's hard to wrap my head around just how much my personal life has changed during the time of this game's development. In six years I've lost touch with my friends (including my old D&D group), become consumed by a very difficult job, changed religions, got married, and, just recently, became a mother. It feels strange to get emotional over a video game, but of all my memories of my younger years, the days spent around the table slaying dragons with my friends are some of the only moments that I look back on with true warmth and fondness. I'm happy with the direction my life has gone, but I've always longed for those days of comradery and adventure.
Watching your channel introduced me to the development of Baldur's Gate III and the undying passion of this community and the amazing team at Larian. I'm so grateful for the time you've taken to share not just the lore and mechanics of the game, but also the story behind it. Witnessing the true love that these artists have for their craft... it's reminded me that even though I'm now a 27-year-old housewife with a small social circle and many responsibilities, sometimes it's okay to take a break and slay some dragons.

I can't wait to someday break open my old D&D rulebooks and give them to my son <3

This is incredible.. I played BG1 and BG2 many times with addons in the hardest difficulty.. These are the games I played and enjoyed the most in my while life! Now im working as a doctor, I have 2 kids and simply not the time to play this incredible masterpiece.. thank you so much for taking me back to my childhood and for letting me have an incredible time!
