Fun fact: the Healing things on the Nautiloid restore your Spell Slots as well as your health.

In the future, you can steal the idol without a spellslot by crouching, right clicking on the idol to hit steal, and then the go to camp button as soon as it leaves the pedestal.

If you explore the castle and find letters, and talk to him trying to spare him, the second time you fight him you can break his spirit and he'll follow his family tradition and kill him self, skipping his fight and going straight to merkol

For future solo challenges, on the Nautiloid you can have Lae'zel just jump into the abyss in the first imp fight (it'll kill her instantly, meaning she doesn't even so much as eat hits for you)

Man, I started watching your videos because of the great cyberpunk content, and then started playing Baldurs gate too, and here you are ! Truly a good coincidence, there's an insane amount of ways to do things in this game, so it's perfect for countless ideas.

If you want brutality, then solo with only selune items and equipment. Literally, there are only two weapons besides unarmored attacks you get: one is the glaive for rescuing aylin, and the other is that quarter staff in the underdark just outside the selunite outpost.

If you want the moon devotion robe without killing isobel, then you have to knock everyone out in last light after you free aylin, then knock isobel out last and cast sanctuary on her unconscious body so the shadows don't kill her.

It kinda sucks, its pretty hard. The only armor in the game you can wear besides moon devotion robe is the two identical selunite robes found in isobels room, its the same ac as the base leather armor a rogue starts with. You want to simp for selune? then try hard all you can at my conjured brutality.

worst part is, with spellmight gloves from Lucretious you can add another 1d8 damage to each magic missile, cause apparently even though MM cannot miss, it still counts as a spell that does an attack roll...

When you threw the eye off the ledge, only for it to land on a lower platform, I laughed so hard!

In the actual tabletop D&D, you can actually make Magic Missile absurdly insane. And before finishing the video I do know you can make it very good in BG3 as well. Now, as a solo challenge and tactician I have no clue how well they will carry. I can't wait to actually finish the video!

Haha when you tried to kill the priestess and she Shielded all your missiles.. your face in that moment was exactly like mine, first time I launched my trusted barrage of magic missiles at an undead boss in tabletop D&D, only to discover he was wearing an amulet of permanent shield xD

magic missile is good in 5e, but with item synergies it was one of my favorite spells in bg3 - especially when you combine it with the tadpole power that explodes people if they get hp down to your number of tadpole powers

Excellent video, I love watching all those colorful numbers pop up. It was super fun to watch these streams, and it was cool that a couple of my chats made it into the video. My first character in BG3 was a magic missile sorcerer, and I used the build on Gale for my next three playthroughs, so I'd been thinking about doing it solo right around when you started streaming the run. I was one of the chatters advocating for Phalar Aluve and told you about lockpicking the door for Balthazar. Feels like I may have influenced Magic Missile Mike a little bit.

It might go against the spirit of the run but there's a scroll in sorcerous sundries called Artistry of war which you can learn as a wizard, it works the same as magic missile but it does 2d6+6 damage instead of 1d4+1

Devs: *pours their hearts and souls into the game for 10 years*
VAs: *spends thousands of hours recording 50, 000 lines of dialogue*
some powergamer: "skip, skip, skip. Yeah yeah I DONT CARE. Gimme ring."

IM ACTUALLY DOING THIS PLAYTHROUGH RIGHT NOW
Already made it to Act 3, I have been using companions (All respecced into wizards) and standard mode but wow, nice to see someone else doing this dumb challenge
Also i chose to play Evocation wizard, the companions also evocation
because they get alot more spell slots, Spell slot recovery, and evocation wizards at lvl 10 add their intelligence modifier to evocation spell damage which Magic Missile is
Thus making magic missile even more powerful
