Authentic or Charlatan: Robert Kiyosaki | Exposing Internet Marketers

Robert Kiyosaki is known for his Rich Dad Poor Dad series of books and his real estate investing. He’s preached how to get rich for a decade at the Robert Kiyosaki seminars.

In this episode of Authentic or Charlatan | Exposing Internet Marketers, I determine if Robert Kiyosaki is a trusted resource for learning how to invest your money, real estate investing, and if rich dad poor dad existed.

Robert Kiyosaki burst into the financial guru environment by selling millions of his Rich Dad Poor Dad book detailing how the rich invest their money, focus on building businesses, and do everything they can to avoid paying taxes.

Kiyosaki has always been a proponent of building a business instead of being a w2 worker, which allows for you to have a significantly higher income, pay less in taxes, and earn a better lifestyle by real estate investing.

Robert Kiyosaki is investing in real estate with no money and I helped declare if that’s a possible strategy in 2019.

Check the end of the video for my grading of Robert Kiyosaki to determine if he’s a reliable source or another social media charlatan.

The only "rich" people who say a seminar helped them, are the people selling the seminars.

Getting a Robert Kiyosaki ad before this video = priceless

My ad before this was Robert himself 😂 trying to sell a course.

I once smoked weed & went to one of these free seminars hosted in Sydney😂. Man, the weed was so good that I started giggling & understood ZERO words they spoke. The weed saved me from spending $447.
The entrepreneur passed a microphone to everyone to say there 3 line motivational things, since I am a musician I started talking about how binaural beats can help us all relax & think calmly😆

I attended a rich dad seminar in 2019. We were being preached at to “invest in ourselves” and pull out the credit cards after the weekend long event. They sold packages of mentorships, more classes, etc. some packages being as high as $40, 000! My wife and I ended up paying $6, 000 for a rich dad version of propstream and some other material that we never used. I can’t say it was wasted money because even though we never used the tools we bought (I had no clue how to use them) it gave me the drive to earn that money back and learn more about real estate. I’m in real estate full time now, but I can’t say that is because I attended a seminar.
I’d say YouTube university is head and shoulders more informative and educational than a rich dad seminar.

The difference between liabilities and assets was a very good lesson of him.

I read one of his books because my mother at the time was electrified by him and felt we all should "get on board". The summary of the book was "the secret of success is be successful". I told my mom to stop trying to get me involved in weird things she is attracted to.

My secret to success is easy to sum up (moderate success in my case, will very comfortably retire by age 60): work your ass off, never give up, never stop thinking, studying, educating yourself, working on improving. Sacrifice. Risk. Don't settle. There ya go, and no one had to pay me for a seminar where I re-word that over and over.

You could have used all this marketting, accounting, economic, sales knowledge to be another online course salesman but you choose to expose these people instead. Kudos to you.

I find it ironic that all of the ads on this video are of charlatan internet scammers 🤣🤣🤣

i can't front, exposing charlatans is the BEST wya to learn about marketing. Its crazy how you're able to undertand it with so much more clarity. Maybe it's because it feels like jjuicy gossip 0:)

When I read rich dad 20 something years ago, it changed my mentality on money. I'll always be grateful for that.

He was always a shyster. I remember going to one of his seminars in Scottsdale. He was putting down people with 8-5 jobs - putting the ‘L’ symbol on his forehead & an evil laugh to boot. His arrogance made me gag. He was NOT anyone I wanted to be connected to. All he cares about is getting your money. He never really says ANYTHING!😡

I don't care about his seminars, funnels, whatsoever.. but his book, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" changed a lot of people's view financially, and their lives, including mine. Although it was very basic, that's all that matters. Sometimes we just have to know the basic to move forward.

His first book is really all you need from him imo. It builds the mindset, the rest is just his business trying to sell you more, sadly.

I don't know how he is now, but his original book gives a solid starting mindset.

I remember this company called "Nouveau Riche back in 2000!" I told my mom it was an MLM scam but her co-worker kept asking her to go to the seminars. I didn't want her going alone, so I went and I'm the one to call BS, exactly what it is! Needless to say, we didn't spend money on NR (they went bankrupt) AND I got mom to burn Kiyosaki's regurgitated books!
